The picture below is a replica of Botticelli's "Birth of Venus" displayed at Believe it or Not Auditorium. It was created in a toaster from 66 pieces of ordinary white bread. Can you imagine? What a piece of art!
This masterpiece is one of over 40 depictions of famous paintings created by Tadahiko Ogawa of Kyoto, Japan, from burned toast. Others include Michelangelo's " The Creation", and Da Vinci's " The Last Supper" and the "Mona Lisa".
