Canopy by Hilton Washington, DC Bethesda North

Have you been to Washington, DC? Washington, DC is one of the most popular places to visit in America for all ages. This city is a very inspirational place to visit because it is filled with unparalleled insight into American history with enviable collection of world monuments, landmarks and museums.

With the magnitude of things to see and a plethora of places to go, you will want to be knowledgeable about where you are staying if you happen to visit the Nation's Capital. If you choose not to stay in the city, you might want to consider staying at one of the modern and hip hotels in Bethesda North: Canopy by Hilton Washington, D.C. Bethesda North

The Canopy by Hilton Washington DC Bethesda North hotel is just a couple blocks away from White Flint Metro Station and is perfectly set in the Pike & Rose neighborhood, an easy walk to restaurants, art galleries, boutiques and urban entertainment.

My family and I got the opportunity to stay overnight at The Canopy by Hilton Washington DC Bethesda North. Our first impression was....uniquely cool!
Right when we walked in the building, these high-style bikes welcomed us and surely did put a smile on our face. These bikes are actually for guest to use free of charge.
The Canopy by Hilton Washington DC Bethesda North hotel has a character all it's own providing stylish and modern accommodations.
The entrance of the 177-room hotel features two impressive design elements: a two-story, living moss wall that from a distance looks like a map of the area and a massive chandelier draped with opaque acrylic reproductions of pages from a 1933 National Geographic Magazine. Pretty unique!
To get to the hotel lobby, we had to take the elevator to the 3rd "welcome" floor. As you can see behind the receptionist are shelves stocked with items, those products are actually made by local artisans available for purchase.
On our way to our room, we noticed this fancy area near the elevator. A water refill station? No way! The filtered water machines on each floor with glass bottles in every room is a cutting-edge hotel addition! Hoping that all hotels will provide something like this. It's the little things that count.
My family and I stayed in a Deluxe 2 Queen Beds with a City View room. The city view wasn't great because of the ongoing construction outside the property. The hotel room has a concrete floor which degrades the room atmosphere in our opinion. The beds and pillows however are so comfortable. We do liked the minimalist design of the room. It's pretty unique that they use a barn type door to separate the foyer and the bathroom.
The open door closet and hall wasn't really our favorite since we have a toddler with us. But absolutely ideal for people on the go.
The walk in shower was big with both a hand held wand and a nice shower nozzle with great water pressure. It's very spacious, neat, and functional. This room has two queen size beds, chaise lounge and table, a 55-inch HDTV, an in-room safe, large work desk, hairdryer, iron and ironing board
This smoke-free hotel features a full-service spa, a restaurant, and a 24-hour fitness center. Free buffet breakfast, free WiFi in public areas, and a free manager's reception are also provided. Other amenities include a bar/lounge, a coffee shop/café, and valet parking.

The hotel dining area is huge and amazingly stylish! It is well well decorated with modern furniture design in a neoclassical décor.

We were pleasantly surprised with the complimentary artisanal breakfast buffet that this hotel offers. Food was excellent and really tasty! Overall experience was great. Check out some photos on our Facebook Page

So whether you’re traveling for business or purely for pleasure, consider staying at Canopy by Hilton Washington, D.C. Bethesda North. Don't forget to like them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter for updates and promotions.

We go to DC relatively often because we have a daughter who lives in the area. I just love it there - we never run out of things to do. In fact, we never get to see everything we plan to see!
