2020 Lifestyle Resolutions

2020 is a completely new era. It's the start of a new decade, and for that reason people seem to be more motivated than ever before to change their lives around. We know that the New Year new me style resolutions have always been a thing, and we know that they generally don't last that long. But this year we feel is going to be different. For most of us adults, we're running out of time to change our lives around before we become set in our ways. It becomes harder to change the habits we're used to because we are such creatures of habit. Plus, where our lifestyle is concerned, our bodies are not as susceptible to change as they get older, making it hard to see any real results if you did decide to change. So deciding to change is what this article is all about. We want to show you some 2020 fueled lifestyle changes that you could make, all of which would make you feel like a completely new person. Keep on reading to find out more!
All Important Diet Changes
We wanted to start by talking about diet changes because they seem to be the hardest ones to change. We're usually surrounded by too many temptations. In the office there will be biscuits and snacks being passed around every other minute. At home, you'll no doubt have thrown some snacks into the shopping trolley. Or, you and your partner will be suckers for buying a takeaway every weekend. There are far more problems that come from eating a bad diet than just an expanding waistline. A bad diet can wreak all sorts of havoc on your teeth, skin, and hair. So we feel it has never been more important to think about the food you're eating, and the way you're eating it. Even chewing your food properly can have a positive impact on the way they you digest it, allowing you to absorb more of the nutrients. It's also really good for your mouth if you're chewing things properly. So to make sure that you're sticking to a diet, it's always important to have a solid diet plan to follow. Trying a diet such as the paleo diet can have such a positive impact on your health. It cuts out all of the processed rubbish we're used to eating, and swaps it with all natural products. If you just follow this diet 80% of the time you'd see such a positive change. A lot of it is going to rely on your ability to have control over what you're eating. If you're living with someone at the minute it's going to be far easier if you can do a diet together! Even if you're not willing to switch to a strict diet like this, you could make it your mission to cut out at least one bad part. Either crisps, chocolate, sweets, or perhaps alcohol if you know you're a sucker for a glass or two a night.

Sleep & Hydration
Sleep is one key component of a functioning human being. But sleep is also one of the components that we ignore the most. In fact, many of us get into a routine where sleep is but a few hours a night, leaving us walking around like a zombie. There have been so many studies that prove anything less than 7 hours of sleep is going to impact cognitive ability, as well as your mental health, and just your general health. Pretty much every aspect of your body is going to be damaged if you're not getting the right amount of sleep. So if you can aim to hit between 7 and 9 hours of sleep each night, you'll be feeling great. As for hydration, imagine how you feel after a heavy night out. The thirst is unreal. Well, if you're not drinking the recommended amount of water each day, that's how your cells feel all of the time. You function so much better with the right amount of fluids. You're more alert and have more energy, toxins are cleared out of your body, and it helps to keep your weight down!

A Hobby Or Two
A final little tip that we think people can benefit from. A hobby or two is a great way to give yourself a break from life, whilst keeping yourself happy and healthy, and it helps to keep you active. There are so many hobbies that you could try. You could go for horse riding, football, tennis, the list goes on!
