Sphinx Statue Inside Luxor Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas

I'm sure you've heard about Sphinx. A sphinx is a mythical creature with, as a minimum, the body of a lion and a human head. In Greek tradition, it has the haunches of a lion, sometimes with the wings of a great bird, and the face of a human.

A trip to Vegas is not complete without a visit to one of the famous hotels on the strip, and that is Luxor Hotel & Casino. My family and I never get bored of visiting the place and we're always admiring the Egyptian inspired statues.

This Sphinx statue is located inside Luxor Hotel. Photos were taken during our 4th visit to Vegas.
