Shrunken Heads

One of the many interesting sites to see when you visit downtown San Antonio is the Buckhorn Saloon and Museum. The museum features animals all over the world, plus you'll get see all kinds of strange things.
One of the weirdest things that my family and I saw was the Shrunken Heads. It's really odd, but it's important to get to know the history behind it.
Yes, they're real heads!
A shrunken head is a severed and specially prepared human head that is used for trophy, ritual, or trade purposes.

Shrunken heads, ngiiih. We used to have similar artifacts here in the Phils during the time of the head hunting Ilonggots of Sierra Madre. Thanks for the macabre post. God bless you all always.
