USAA's Spring Fest

My family and I had a blast at USAA's annual Spring Fest this year. They always provide lots of food, treats, and entertainment for everyone.
Those giant bounces were definitely a big hit for small and big kids.
It was really fun and a great day to be outdoors, and we also got to see some family friends at the event.
The fireworks display always end the night right. Thanks USAA for hosting! Until next year.

South Texas MAiZE

Have you gone and picked out your pumpkins yet? It's pumpkin season once again and that means it's time to start mapping out which pumpkin patches you're going to visit this year. One of my family's favorite pumpkin patches to hit during pumpkin season is the South Texas Maize in Hondo, Texas. We go there every year since we moved from California. It's our favorite farm so far!
The South Texas Maize in Hondo opens for it’s 2014 season from September 27th thru November 30th. The farm is full of fun things to do and food to eat for the entire family. Aside from their famous 7 acre maze, they have Farmer Ken's Kiddie Korral, Goat Walk, Wiggle Worm Slide, Spider Web, Corn Poppers, Paw Paw's Pig Races, Hay Bale Jump, Cow Train and more. The South Texas Maize is an all outdoor activity taking place during the fall months.
Be prepared to get lost on a fantastic 7 acre corn maze adventure.
Kids enjoying the cow train ride.
Daughter had a blast climbing and sliding on the MatterCorn. It's the tallest and longest slide in Medina County!
The pig race show was very entertaining.
Try your target shooting skills with their new apple cannons.
Hay ride, pumkins, and helicopter? Only at South Texas MAiZE!!!
Daughter decided to pick a smaller pumpkin this year.
My family and I always have a pleasant visit every time we go to South Texas MAiZE and have never had a disappointing experience. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

For more details, you should visit their website today or you might want to like them on Facebook or follow them on Google+ for updates and promotions. So what are you waiting for?

Disclosure: I received complimentary tickets from South Texas MAiZE through a partnership between South Texas MAiZE and the US Family Guide bloggers.

Happy 51st Wedding Anniversary Lolo & Lola!

Today is the 51st wedding anniversary celebration of my wonderful grandparents. Happy anniversary Lolo & Lola. You guys know how much I admire and love you.
May the Almighty bless you with good health & happiness. Wishing the two of you happiness and love always!
Time goes by super fast! I did not realized that it's been a year already since the last time we visited the Philippines. Looking back at these photos made me feel nostalgic. I can't wait to visit my family and friends again.
Here's my mom's side of the family. My grandparents got married on January 20, 1960. They have 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

This is my entry for this week's Nostalgia. Thanks to sisRose for hosting!

The KC-10 Extender

Here are some photos taken when went to see the Air Show this year. Featuring the KC-10 Extender.
The KC-10 Extender is an Air Mobility Command advanced tanker and cargo aircraft designed to provide increased global mobility for U.S. armed forces. Although the KC-l0's primary mission is aerial refueling, it can combine the tasks of a tanker and cargo aircraft by refueling fighters and simultaneously carry the fighter support personnel and equipment on overseas deployments.
The KC-10 can transport up to 75 people and nearly 170,000 pounds (76,560 kilograms) of cargo a distance of about 4,400 miles (7,040 kilometers) unrefueled. The KC-10 has three large fuel tanks under the cargo floor, one under the forward lower cargo compartment, one in the center wing area and one under the rear compartment. Combined, the capacity of the six tanks carry more than 356,000 pounds (160,200 kilograms) of fuel - almost twice as much as the KC-135 Stratotanker.
Inside the Aircraft.
The large cargo-loading door can accept most air forces' fighter unit support equipment. Powered rollers and winches inside the cargo compartment permit moving heavy loads. The cargo compartment can accommodate loads ranging from 27 pallets to a mix of 17 pallets and 75 passengers.
