Summer Fun at Schlitterbahn | #BahnLove

The hot summer days in Texas can be rough for everyone, and what better way to chase away the scorching summer blues than to visit one of Schlitterbahn's Waterparks?
There are four Schlitterbahn Waterparks in Texas, and the one in New Braunfels is my family's favorite place to go every year.
Schlitterbahn Waterpark New Braunfels is nestled along the beautiful banks of the Comal River and features world-famous attractions, epic river adventures, kid’s water playgrounds, and beautiful spots to relax and share a picnic – there is truly something for everyone!
My daughter was so brave to try the White Water Tube Chute by herself, and went on again after her twisting vortex experience.
With so many water rides in this 70 acres water park, it can be difficult to know where to start your adventures!
If you haven't been to this place, it is important to know that Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Waterpark has two amazing sections that are separated by a few city blocks.
No worries because they have trams that run all day to get you from one side to the other. How convenient is that!
My husband's personal favorite, the Boogie Bahn Surf. He tried so many times and fell off many times. It was fun watching him!
Schlitterbahn has been named the best and one of the largest waterpark in the world. This waterpark offers unique water rides and lots of slides, lazy rivers, pools, splash pads for all ages. Each park has a unique selection of cabanas including tables, chairs, loungers and waitstaff.
Unlike most waterparks you've visited, Schlitterbahn offers free parking, free tubes, and free life jackets. Not to mention they allow you to pack your own picnic lunch while enjoying your day at the park.

As always my family and I had a great time at Schlitterbahn! We had so much fun and we are looking forward to visit there again next summer!
So if you are looking for an awesome waterpark to cool off this summer with your family, Schlitterbahn is the perfect place to go! This place is clean, safe, and family friendly. I would highly recommend Schlitterbahn New Braunfels to everyone!
For more details and would like to purchase tickets, you should visit schlitterbahn.com today! You might want to like their Facebook page or follow them on Twitter for updates and promotions. So what are you waiting for?

Disclosure: I received complimentary tickets and accommodation for my family to visit Schlitterbahn New Braunfels through a partnership between Schlitterbahn and the US Family Guide bloggers.

Texas Renaissance Festival | Sherwood Forest Faire #SherwoodForestFaire #sherwoodfaire

Hooray for Spring Break! If you and your family are looking for something to do during Spring Break, you might want to visit and experience the medieval era at Sherwood Forest Faire in McDade, Texas.
Last weekend, my family and I were given another opportunity to escape from the real world and stepped back to a time of dungeons and dragons, knights and peasants, and kings and queens.  Our last visit to Sherwood Forest was way back in 2012. It feels awesome to be back there again!
Sherwood Forest Faire is a Renaissance Festival based on the tales of Robin Hood and his Merry Men.

Founded in 2010, Sherwood Forest is a 23 acre permanent village set in the beautiful Lost Pines region of Texas.
It features well over 100 permanent buildings including shoppes, pubs, restaurants and stages.
There are plenty of rides and games for the kids, and moms and dads can find a refreshing beverage at one of their six pubs. Plenty of vendors showcasing their unique handcrafted crafts and some costume shops available at different spots.
Daughter had a blast feeding the animals and got a chance to get on the camel's back. Make sure to bring some CASH because everything cost money inside the forest.
They are open for business over eight weekends in February and March for a medieval-themed show with over 100 musical, comedic and dramatic performances per day, including a full-contact heavy armor joust, falconry show, feasts, and wine tastings - all in period costume and character.

One of my family's favorite shows at the faire, the joust!
I love how everyone dresses up as and act like they're in a different world.
Some guests are really into it by renting costumes and playing along and getting into character. Now I'm thinking of wearing my medieval costume on our next visit.

Not to mention, Sherwood Forest Faire accommodate weddings, receptions, reunions, corporate gatherings and summer camps.
Their spectacular hall will seat over 200 guests and features dressing rooms, as well as rooms to rent overnight as a part of your wedding celebration!
I have to say that my family and I had another amazing experience at Sherwood Forest Faire. This place is absolutely filled with magic and tons of lively entertainment. It's a unique experience that everyone should try at least once. For more details or would like to purchase tickets, you should visit sherwoodforestfaire.com. Don't forget to like them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter for updates and promotions. So what are you waiting for?

Disclosure: I received complimentary tickets for me and my family to visit Sherwood Forest Faire in exchange for a fair review.

The Hustler Ride

The Hustler is one of hubby and daughter's favorite rides in Six Flags Fiesta Texas. I won't go on this ride. I hate spinning rides, it makes me extremely sick and dizzy!
Jump in an oversize billiard ball and ricochet around our giant pool table—but watch out for hustlers.

Have Yourself A Looney Tunes Christmas

This group of Looney Tunes characters are very entertaining and lively. Kids and adults adored them! My family and I always enjoy their Christmas performance every year.
Get into the spirit of the season with Bugs and his Looney Tunes friends during Have Yourself a Looney Tunes Christmas.
Stop by Sangerfest Halle to sing and dance along to family favorites like “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and “Feliz Navidad.”
This magical show runs November through December 23.

The Tinseltones at Six Flags Fiesta Texas

I love the Tinseltones group! They sound really good and they have pretty impressive voices.
Catch these contemporary a cappella carolers as they entertain audiences every operating day during Holiday in the Park! Performing songs such as the classics “12 Days of Christmas” and a lively rendition of “Holiday Road.”
The Tinseltones could very well twinkle with the stars as they will wow you with a mix of old favorites and new takes on timeless tunes.

Texas-Sized Christmas Tree at Six Flags Fiesta Texas

A 60-foot ginormous Christmas tree at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. This Christmas Tree is truly Texas-sized for sure!
Towering a wonderful 60 feet over Rockville, this large tree is the staple of your holiday dreamland. One of the largest Christmas trees around is adorned with thousands sparkling lights, twinkling ornaments, and glistening gifts underneath. The dazzling display comes to life nightly, and the brilliant decorations magically light up the heart of the park.
And this is how the tree looks like at night!
Photo: Our Christmas Tree is truly Texas-sized! Who is coming out to see the tree lighting ceremony this weekend at 7 pm?
Photo not mine.
