The Famous Golden Roof

By Dhemz   1:01 PM // No comments

One of the famous landmarks in Innsbruck, Austria is the Golden Roof. The Golden Roof was a symbol for the old centre of Europe and a reflection of inconsistencies in times of great change. Sumptuously decorated with 2,657 fire-gilded copper tiles, all still original, it forms the roof of an alcove balcony that the great Emperor Maximilian I had added to the existing “Neuhof” building around 1500. The Emperor and his wife used the balcony to observe festivals, tournaments, and other events that took place in the square below. #GoldenRoof #innsbruck #austria #europe #landmark #travel #diasfamilyadventures

When traveling as a family it can be tempting to purchase a timeshare for the extra space and amenities. If you bought a timeshare that you no longer want, a timeshare termination company like Omni Ellis can help you get rid of the timeshare.
