Friday Fill-ins

It's my first time to join "Friday Fill-ins". I've been longing to join this meme for a long time now, but I kept forgetting. A few of my blogger friends seems to like this meme. So I thought of joining in!

1. On vacation, I like to buy souvenirs.

3. One of my favorite vacation spots is the Philippines.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to see my husband who flew to Texas yesterday, blog hop, and maybe watch a movie, tomorrow my plans include grocery shopping, drive to our condo and do some maintenance, and Sunday, I want to relax and spend time with my family!

This is Akesha's fave ride. She always thinks she's a giant.

They love to read books together....wait a minute! Akesha can't read yet....lol! She just want to mimic her papa all the time.
Thanks hon for such a hands-on Dad. You are the BEST! I just want you to know how much Akesha and I appreciates you. Thanks for everything. Happy Father's day!!! We love yah!

Mellow Yellow Monday: Spongebob & Yellow M&M

It's Monday once again! One more week to go until we go back to Cali. I just can't wait to go back home! Staying in Vegas for a week is enough for me....lol! I'm ready to fly back home right now!...lol....:) Anyway, here's my Mellow Yellow Monday entry this week.

Mommy Moments

Father's day is just around the corner! Ayay! Akesha and I don't know what to get for Father's day...hmmmm, we might need to go shopping this weekend. Anyhow, it's Mommy Moments once again! This week's theme is about letters/artworks/messages for dads. Akesha is not old enough to write a letter to her papa, but she is old enough to say "I love you Papa" a gazillion times a day.

Akesha helped me decorate the welcome sign that I made for hubby. Hubby went to South Carolina for his military training and was gone for 2 weeks.
Akesha loves helping her papa. Even if she's wearing my sandal, she still wants and eager to help hubby mow the lawn.

Traveling with A Toddler

Hubby and I started flying with Akesha when she was just 6 months old, and since that time, she has flown a few round trips, ranging from 1 hour to 16 hour flights. What a different world we live in. I did not ride on a plane until I was in my second year high school.

Traveling with my daughter is not a pain in the butt at all. She is a good traveler. She only complains if she's hungry/thirsty or if she wants to go potty. I am glad she knows how to entertain herself.

Travel Tips:

When traveling in the car or on an airplane, a great entertainer reusable stickers. Your children can stick and re-stick them on the windows of the car or airplane. Also, lollipops are good for earaches during flying.

Take lots of children's stories and music on tapes, plenty of cheap toys, and new books.

Wrap individual goldfish, gummy bears, and (a small amount) of M&M's individually in aluminum foil. Small children will delight in unwrapping them to see what's inside. This is a great tip for plane rides.

Sounds obvious, but ... Make sure you have your children go to the bathroom before you leave the airport - and have something for them to do so you have a nice flight there and back.

Summer time is just around the corner, and now is the perfect time to shop for patio furniture! My husband and I are planning to buy a patio set this coming summer. And we also want to get some outdoor chair cushions.
