Harlem GlobeTrotters

Have you ever seen the Harlem GlobeTrotters perform live? Have you ever heard of them? I heard about them for a long time. I think it was my husband who first told me about this team.
According to Wikipedia
The Harlem Globetrotters are an exhibition basketball team that combines athleticism, theater and comedy. Created by Abe Saperstein in 1926 in Chicago, Illinois, the team adopted the name Harlem because of its connotations as a major black community. Over the years they have played more than 20,000 exhibition games in 118 countries.
The Globetrotters gradually worked comic routines into their act until they became known more for entertainment than sports. The Globetrotters' acts often feature incredible coordination and skillful handling of one or more basketballs, such as passing or juggling balls between players, balancing or spinning balls on their fingertips, and making unusual, difficult shots.
You should visit their website to find out about them. Tickets are also available at their website. We paid $80+ for the three of us, and that's after the military discount.

From the look of it, I am sure it must have been worth the $80
What a novel way of entertainment.

I have known the Harlem Globetrotters since I was a kid but I was not privileged enough to see any of their show whenever they visited the Philippines. But I am always a fan of them as I marveled at their prowess in basketball. Thanks for featuring them in your post. God bless you all always.
