According to wikipedia, Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement, also known as kadÅ, the "way of flowers". More than simply putting flowers in a container, ikebana is a disciplined art form in which nature and humanity are brought together. Contrary to the idea of floral arrangement as a collection of particolored or multicolored arrangement of blooms, ikebana often emphasizes other areas of the plant, such as its stems and leaves, and draws emphasis toward shape, line, form.
Ikebana
Photos were taken during our visit to the Institute of Texan Cultures. One of the many traditional Japanese flower arrangements. Yellow mums are gorgeous!

Kirei!
This goes for their tea ceremonies and origami as well...Have a lovely week!
I really wanted to learn the art of Ikebana. Ang maganda nang Ikebana you can use twigs or any object as long as it is appropriate to what you make. Looks very classy di ba? Happy Monday!
MYM
I think the Japanese, and in some ways the Koreans too, are the most artistic and disciplined people in the world. Even the food they eat must be artistically prepared. The only thing I don't like about them is they hunt, slaughter and eat whales which are already in the endangered species list. Oh well, nobody's perfect in this world. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

THE SEEKERS OF YELLOW
The seekers of yellow, they say,
Will have a most terrible day
Should they not behold
Cream, amber or gold
To burnish life’s dull shades of grey.
