I recently read a post online about the Whistler dogs in Canada. Apparently, an employee, who said he was suffering from post-traumatic stress, filed a report about “executing” 100 dogs. The employee who completed the “execution” stated that it was due to cutting costs after the 2010 Winter Olympics. A recent article however states that this may not all be true. Some of the dogs were believed to be euthanized for health reasons as stated by the owner. If such is the case, I hope it comes out during the investigation. I just hope too that euthanasia was the last resort they had for the dogs.
