I've been here in the US for almost 6 years, and has no work experience. The only work experience I have that I'm very proud of is doing some voluntary jobs. I think my husband and I have volunteered for over 5 organizations from the past 5 years. Last year we volunteered at his previous company, Delegata.

Volunteer work is also a job. You need skill and experience to carry it out and it counts on your resume. At least you keep busy on your terms unlike a fulltime job.
The spirit of volunteerism is rare. Not everyone would be willing to reach out and lend a helping hand without expecting monetary compensation in return.

Volunteer jobs is also necessary for individual. This would also affect sometimes in every individual who are willing to work without any return to receive. Giving your time is a great thing that we can share who need your service. That's why you are blessed because of your good heart to help. Thanks for sharing.

I like doing volunteer jobs if I am the one to volunteer myself but if somebody is pushing me to do it, it's another thing.. Nice shots Dhemz.

That's really nice of you Dhemz. I want to do some work like this too. I want to go to explore and experience voluntary works. I have done voluntary works when I was in HS and college but now, I want to be in action, anything will do. I should start in our church over here.
