Greg and I have been married for over 6 years, and have moved to 4 different places. It's crazy right!? I know it is. Moving is a daunting task, and it's stressful but we have managed it very well.

Last year, we decided to move to Texas because Greg got a decent job offer. So we stayed for 5 months in a luxury apartment, and then purchased a second home last October.

Here's my share for this week's Mommy Moments theme "Home". The living room area is our favorite place to hangout.

Above and Beyond

Above and beyond is a common term use in the Air Force.

Newly enlisted airwoman....lol!

 While I was transferring our old photo folders to a new hard drive, I saw some of our Air Show photos taken 3 years ago. We used to watch an Air Show every year in California, but it stopped when we moved to Texas.  

I miss going to this kind of event. Akesh was 2 years old in this picture.

 I see cargo plane, F16 and other fighting jets passing by our house every day. It's annoying when you hear them outside. Glad we have a soundproof house.

ABC Wednesday: X is for XOXO

XOXO is an acronym, abbreviation or slang word. Xoxo is a common way for people to end a letter, text or email. It is a short way of sending your hugs and kisses to the person.

X means kisses...and

 

O means hugs.

Barnes & Noble

How's your weekend guys?! I wish you had a fantastic one. Our weekend was a busy one. Last Saturday we went to Barnes & Noble to get some books for our little miss.

She's been whining about going there for a long time.

 Dinosaur books is always her favorite aisle to checkout every time we go to a bookstore. She might want to be a paleontologist someday...:) 

We bought her a few books and 2 boxes of puzzles games, one for her and one for us (60 and 1500 pieces). She already solved hers while hubby and I have trouble connecting each pieces.

California State Fair '07

California State Fair is one of the biggest events we look forward to every year when we used to live in Sacramento. I miss going to the fair. 

 News10 always have their weather forecast photo booth set-up every year. And each individual will get a chance to be a weather person of the day for a few seconds. All you have to do is get in line to have your picture taken!

Urban Clothing

I think that the best way to get good clothes is to pay attention to the style and quality of the clothes, rather than buying a too funky and cheap material. I do sometimes buy urban clothes. Urban clothing can easily be worn at any occasion, and investing money with this type of clothing is not going to go to a waste as the trend of urban clothes is never too old. How about you? Do you like urban trends?

These two had a little argument...lol! The little miss wants the sugary rainbow gummy bears, but hubby suggested not to get it. Nobody won the battle because the mother lion interrupted...nyahaha!

Happy Father's Day!

6 Years Ago....

This photo was taken 6 years ago. Wow, that long?! It was June 11th of 2005 when I first arrived here in the US. I was pretty overwhelmed meeting all Greg's huge family. I remember when I was very aloof from everyone. What do you expect? I don't know anybody except Greg.

Looking at this photo made me think of not eating food for a month...lol! I do miss my curvy body. Now, I look like a hippo...nyahaha!  

The day after my arrival, Greg's family gave us a post bridal shower party. It was so sweet of them!

Wishiwashiwa

It's been pretty hot here lately. We've been having 90+ degree almost everyday, and sometimes the heat is just unbearable. I wish we live nearby the beach or lake.

Despite the warm weather, my family were able to wash the VEHICLES outside. It's fun to wash the car and get wet at the same time.

F-16 Pink Shirt

Part of hubby's duty in the Air Force is to go to a 2-week mandatory annual tour training. A couple of years ago, him and the rest of the squadron went to Shaw, AFB South Carolina.

It was not an easy situation to be away with him, but Akesha and I survived. Anyway, he brought us some stuff when he got back from his training. One of the things he bought me was a pink F-16 shirt.

Math Session

So our little miss just turned 5 years old a couple of months ago and will be in kindergarten very soon. Honestly, I am having such anxiety over this. I fear something will happen at school and what if she'll get lost and no one will be able to find her. I am excited for her though because I know she'll enjoy it, but I get nervous and anxious feeling every time I think of it.

She's been doing great and attentive during our school sessions. I'm confident enough to say that she's ready to go to school. She's already using the 1st grade Math book!

Table Rock Lake Real Estate

My brother-in-law and his family live close to the lake, but his wife’s parents live by the lake. I was amazed how gorgeous it is to live by the lake. We had so much fun when we visited them last year. We went on a boat and went water skiing. We also went fishing too. I wish we can afford to get one of those luxurious houses at Table Rock lake real estate. The property is an exclusive gated lakefront community located in the spectacular Ozark Mountains overlooking the sparkling blue waters of Table Rock Lake.

Burnet Gunfighters

Sharing you a couple of photos and a video during our out of town adventure last Memorial day weekend.

These saloon ladies are train passengers. I was not too impressed with the whole performance because not the whole casts showed up, but it was OK.

Burnet Gunfighters present a Wild West gunfight at the train station last Saturday. The Burnet Gunfighters were founded as a volunteer organization dedicated to performing gunfight re-enactments as a community service to the City of Burnet. They are volunteers and there are no charges for their services. Donations and the proceeds goes to charities.
