Admiral Nimitz Museum

The Admiral Nimitz State Historic Site in Fredericksburg is the only institution in the continental United States dedicated exclusively to telling the story of Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz and World War II in the Pacific Theater. The six acre site includes the Admiral Nimitz Museum which is housed in the old Nimitz Hotel and tells the story of Fleet Admiral Nimitz beginning with his life as a young boy through his naval career as well as the evolution of the old hotel (now museum) in Fredericksburg, Texas.
We passed it on our way to Wildseed Farms a few weeks ago. We hope to visit here next time. I'm really interested to see what's inside.

I like the shape of the building. I love old historic buildings. Hate to hear when one is going to be destroyed.
