Fort Sam Houston

A few weeks ago, my family and I went to visit Fort Sam Houston. It's a U.S. Army post located in San Antonio, Texas. Also known as "Fort Sam," it is named after the first President of the Republic of Texas, Sam Houston.
This is the Old BAMC (Brooke Army Medical Center)building. Completed in 1937 as a General Hospital, and now it is home of the Headquarters of US Army South.
After driving around the Fort, we decided to stop by at one of the museums.
Fort Sam Houston is known as the "Home of Army Medicine" and "Home of the Combat Medic." At the end of World War II. It is the largest and most important military medical training facility in the world.
Photos inside the museum.

It is a very neat place to go and visit. Plus, it's CHEAP!
