Jarabe Dancers

I like Latin Folk Dance. The music is very lively and full of energy. Dancers wear colorful and decorated outfits. Every time I see or hear Jarabe dancers performing, it always lift my spirit!
The Jarabe is considered Mexico’s “national dance” and is the best known outside the country, often called the “Mexican Hat Dance” in English. The dance symbolizes the courtship of a woman by a man, who at first is refused but accepted in the end.
Jarabe dancers performed at the Strawberry Festival in Poteet, TX.
