I love golf! Ok, I know that statement has been shouted from mountaintops a thousands times by us golfers but I had to say it anyways. So it’s great to live here in South Florida if you have an affinity for golf because it seems like there’s a thousand great courses to play. Kidding, there’s not a thousand but there are some great courses. There are however a lot of other people that share my enthusiasm for the game so finding a country club that is not too pricey but also not too darned crowded can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. I have friends that have memberships tp some amazing courses here in the Boca Raton area, but getting a good tee time in less than two weeks can prove to be impossible.

Well recently my wife and I relocated to the Boca Raton area and we were looking for a place with enough members for us to have a bit of a social life and meet new friends but also a club that had few enough members for us to be able to get on the course within a reasonable amount of time. We looked far and wide and especially looked closely at a few friend’s clubs but we kept circling to the same smaller country club again and again.

It’s called the Club At Boca Pointe. The Club has only around 1,200 equity members. And while most members hold equity memberships in the Club, non-equity memberships are also offered to cater to members' individual lifestyles if they do not live in South Florida full-time. This is brilliant on their part. Especially because so many people come down to Boca Raton from up north to escape the cold winters. We pulled the trigger and became members. To be honest, we couldn’t be happier with the club or its members. It’s a great place to spend time.
