Great Clips Veterans Day FREE Hair Cut Promotion | #GreatClips

Being part of a military family can be both incredibly rewarding and challenging sometimes. Honestly, I didn't always like being married to a military. I hated being away from my husband and taking care of my daughter by myself. But now when I look back I thought it was a wonderful and the most rewarding experience for my family.
As a military wife, I'm so proud of my husband's accomplishments and his services to both branches (the Navy and the Air Force) in the United States military. He served over 21 years combined active and reserve service. Now, he's retired from the military and is currently working at a company that caters to military members and veterans and their families.
Yes, my family and I are extremely passionate and have the utmost respect for our military veterans and servicemen and women. We are very active in supporting our troops especially that we are surrounded by military people. After all we live in a city that has one of the nation's largest active and retired military populations. Our troops have always been admirable examples of professionalism and courage. That's why it is important that we all support them in any way we can.
Here are some ideas to help both veterans and active military members in your community.
- Write thank you notes and send them overseas
- Volunteer
- Send care packages
-  Invite them over the holidays -
-  Alert them to exclusive military deals right in your community

Do you know that Great Clips has an awesome promotion for military people on Veterans Day? That's right! Active or retired military members get free haircuts or a free haircut card on November 11th, and any customer who gets a haircut at Great Clips on November 11th receives a free haircut card to give to a veteran. Only veterans and active members of the military are eligible to redeem the free haircut card. Family members of said military members do not qualify.
I like the fact that Great Clips really cares about veterans.  From parents and grandparents to friends, neighbors, teachers and spouses, these people mean so much to us, and Veterans Day is one of our greatest opportunities we have to say thank you and remind them how important they are to us. So why not thank the veterans in your life and visit your local Great Clips on November 11th to redeem a free haircut card to share with a veteran of choice!
Please share this amazing promotion from Great Clips! Do you have a special veteran in your life? If so, how do you thank them?

Would you say US troops are best served at home, or abroad?

My grandpa served on an American military base in Italy in the 1950's where my dad was born. I got to take him there last year which he loved because that was where he and my grandma first lived when they got married

I think this is amazing. It's one thing to be away from your home and your family and it's another to risk your life to give them a better future. Things like a free hair cut to honor them is great!

Free haircut! Cool campaign for the military veterans. We don't have Great Clips here, hope we did. It would be wonderful for our Philippine military veterans too. Men love getting haircuts, specially when they're free! But who wouldn't, right? :)

I love that Great Clips is supporting our Veterans! My brother is an injured Iraq War Veteran and I sat at the VA Hospital with him the other day and I was humbly reminded how much they have given!
