5 Ways to Get Plastic Surgery Results without Plastic Surgery

Life in plastic is fantastic, but it doesn’t have to mean painful surgeries and months of recovery.
Everyone wants to be the very best versions of themselves.
Whether through diet, exercise, or good sleeping habits we all try to do whatever is necessary to look our best.
For some, that may even mean contemplating going under the knife and getting cosmetic surgery. For most, that is a big decision, however, because not only is surgery risky, but it can also be painful and require time to rest and heal.
We are lucky, however, to live in a time where we can get the kind of results we want without having major surgery to do so.
Here are five ways to get the same or similar results from expensive and time-consuming plastic surgery procedures, without the actual surgery.
1. Coolsculpting
Coolsculpting is just as cool as it sounds, and is an amazing way to get rid of unwanted fat, without it having to be cut out.
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the average cost of Liposuction is $3200, and recovery time can be up to two weeks.
Most Coolscuplting procedures are half that cost, and getting the prcedure done takes about an hour or so and there is no downtime afterward.
Also, since there is no need to go under anesthesia, even people with some health issues that would disqualify them from many surgical procedures may more likely be able to do Coolsculpting.
It’s pretty easy to find a doctor who offers this service, a quick search on the internet should connect you with the right person for a consolation.
2. Thermage
Thermage is a great alternative to a face-lift with similar results.
The device used for the procedure uses radio-frequency energy to heat the skin which then prompts your body to make collagen which tightens skin.
Even though this treatment can be a little painful, it usually only takes one time to see great results, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
3. Botox
Botox is a well-known outpatient injection procedure, and the reason is it yields results and most people can do a procedure on their lunch break.
According to the Mayo clinic, Botox, which is a form of botulinum toxin, can help reduce the look of fine lines in the forehead, around the mouth, and crow’s feet around the eyes.
The procedure usually involves injecting a small needle in the areas you wish to target, and right afterward you can get back to your regularly scheduled programming with only slight swelling and bruising.
4. Derma Fillers
Derma Fillers are like Botox in that they are injected into areas on the face needing to be filled or plumped, helping with fine lines and sagginess, according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
There are different types of fillers used, but the most common is hyaluronic acid.
Derma Fillers are sometimes referred to as the “liquid facelift” because in a short amount of time with only a few injections results can be seen without any need for extensive recovery.
5. Venus
The Venus treatment is a non-invasive treatment that targets wrinkles, saggy skin, and cellulite to either the face or body. It is similar to Coolsculpting in that it targets fat cells, but instead of destroying them it stimulates the collagen and skin to tighten, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

This procedure takes a couple treatments to see results, but just after a couple weeks, it is known to make a big difference in the applied areas.
