"This is the largest elephant ever recorded and hails from the Cuito River region of southeastern Angola. Donated by big-game hunter Josef Fénykövi in 1955, it took taxidermists 16 months to prepare the hide for display, using more than 10,000 pounds of clay and a framework of wood and metal."
