San Diego Beaches & More
San Diego enjoys mild weather and frequently sunny skies all year-round, and in the winter, you can enjoy the city's many beautiful beaches without the crowds. Immerse yourself in the laid-back vibe, with strolls on the sands or rent a beach cruiser and ride the 3.5-mile path that leads from Pacific Beach to South Mission Beach for breathtaking views and great people watching. This is the season for whale watching too, with over 20,000 gray whales making their way from Alaska to Baja California's lagoons.

Salt Lake City Skiing
For a family ski vacation, head to Salt Lake City, where you can fly in and easily reach Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort, just a 30-minute drive away. It's renowned as one of the top family-friendly ski resorts, with abundant snow and terrain for all skill levels from beginners to advanced. There's tamer terrain around the base for those who are still learning, while Cirque provides some of the best expert terrain in the nation and is serviced by a tram. There are several other outstanding resorts within easy reach of SLC too, - in fact, you could ski all four of the most famous in Utah in a single weekend from here. In addition to Snowbird, you'll find Solitude, Brighton and Alta. If skiing is your passion, you might want to consider looking through Salt Lake City real estate for a vacation home or even a year-round place.

Las Vegas Excitement
Las Vegas is a great spot to warm up in the winter while enjoying plenty of exciting entertainment. It's not just about gambling here, but countless shows like Cirque du Soleil and free options, including the incredible Bellagio water show. Take a spin on the Las Vegas High Roller, the world’s highest observation wheel, ride a gondola along The Venetian's canal and enjoy heart-pounding thrill rides at the Stratosphere. Just a short drive outside the city, and you'll discover miles and miles of trails that wind through unique, fiery red rock formations too.
