Regent Street

⬅️⬅️⬅️ This is Regent Street. Regent Street is a large shopping street in London's west end. . It is named after Prince Regent(who became George IV). This street has been an important landmark since its creation in 1825. . Running perpendicular to Oxford Street, the fabulous Regent Street boasts over one mile of store frontage and is aptly nicknamed the 'Mile of Style'. . The road has partly 4 lanes and is usually crowded with buses and cars, but it was closed down when we were there because of the Summer Streets event. It was really cool! We got to enjoy a rare opportunity to roam about the street freely and watched some performers along the way. . In my opinion, Regent Street is one of the most spectacular streets in London. Just look at those fancy grand buildings.
