New Achievements

New achievements is this week's Mommy Moments theme. Akesha is turning five this coming April. I know! I can't imagine my preemie baby is a big girl now. She claims all the time that she's not a baby anymore! Anyhow, hubby and I are going to find a decent school for  her next month. Yup, she will start kindergarten soon this coming August.
I've been really stressed out lately. You might say "yeah right, stressed out to what". Well, it's very stressful and frustrating teaching a 4-year old how to read and write. I don't know how to increase the level of my patience. Teaching is not my passion.
I'm glad my daughter is eager to learn. So to make our school consistent, I decided to make her a weekly schedule. I thought the idea was fantastic! She knows her routine very well. What a great way to start the year!
She is doing pretty well. She can write her full name, abc's and numbers. Now she can read 50+ words (2-5 letters). I'm proud of you anak! Sorry if mama is too harsh on you. I just want you to get prepared when you start going to school.

Mukhang istrikta ka nga Dhemz, lalo pa duon sa litrato mo nuon na naka black belter. Very intimidating, hehehe. But the more one knows you, the more one finds out how sweet and wonderful you really are. And I'm glad that I am one of your online friends. Konting tiyaga lang kay Akesha. Matalinong bata naman siya at sana huwag mo masyadong ipu push baka magkaroon nang phobia sa pagaaral. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

mommy dhemz, di ka ng iisa sa 'stess-thing', hehe. maka frustrate ug teach sa atong kids but you'll be surprised soon na kaya man diay sa atong anak. Mas mo obey man gud na sila sa ilang teachers and if we're the ones teaching them, daghan manya :D

I'm sure Akesha will do great at school. Looking at her pic, serious kaayo sya and she's very eager to learn ;-)
