Half-Staff Flag
Let us pay respects to the victims of the Connecticut school shooting. My heart goes out to everyone who was affected. Such a horrific tragedy.
Flying a flag at half-staff or half-mast is a sign for grief and mourning. It is flown following the death of certain government officials, in times of national distress, on various holidays, and at any other time it is instructed by the president or government.

What a wonderful way to pay respect :-) It was a tragic Friday day :-( Thank you for sharing this to BPC Momi Dhemz
I could still cry watching or reading any survival story or any story related and connected to that tragedy. I can't get over the fact nga kids ang mga biktima. Haaay sakit kaayo sa heart oi.

It's very sad esp that Christmas is coming around. I couldn't sleep really. It's hard to watch the news.
I really don't know what word to say to comfort the parents of the victims. What happened was unimaginable :(
I just pray for the souls of the those who died and also healing and acceptance for those that are left behind.
ive seen the flags like this a year ago. i was wondering what it means? hubby told me, something had just happened. after that sandy hook incident, i saw the flags ones again in this position. i am hoping not to see the US flags like this again.
BPC hop!
