Family Cruising the Royal Caribbean | #NavigatoroftheSeas

My family and I love to travel, we like to go on a cruise, and visit other countries. Traveling is a wonderful opportunity to experience other cultures and learn more about the world. Most importantly, it creates memories for a lifetime.

So if you are planning a vacation this summer, I highly recommend taking a cruise. Cruising is not for honeymooners and retirees anymore, rather an adventure for all ages. A cruise vacation offers plenty of options and lots of fun for everyone. We've been on a cruise for three consecutive years, and we've always remember the fun we had on those trips.
Recently, my family and I had the opportunity to cruise for a night and explore the newly revitalized ship, Navigator of the Seas. Navigator of the Seas is the fourth Voyager-class cruise ship operated by Royal Caribbean International, and the first second-generation Voyager-class ship. She was once the largest ship in the fleet and still ranks among the largest passenger ships in the world.
The Navigator of the Seas is gigantic, but easy to navigate compared to other ships that we've been on. I thought the interactive digital way finder is one of the coolest features that this ship have. Staying connected at sea is easier than ever with Wi-Fi available throughout the ship, and if you choose to stay in your stateroom to catch a movie, you'll be able to do it with all new flat-panel televisions.
Imagine opening your balcony door to see a new and breathtaking part of the world each morning. A stateroom with a balcony is a great way to make your cruise adventure even more memorable and truly take in your destination.
We were assigned to stay in one of the luxurious rooms with ocean view and a private balcony. The room features a wider entry door, sitting area with sofa that converts into a bed, closet rods, a safe box, flat screen TV, a private bathroom with a wider door, roll-in shower, grab bars, fold-down shower bench, hand-held shower head, raised toilet, and a lowered sink.
What would cruise be like without a buffet? The casual Windjammer cafe offers buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. With so many food options to choose from you never get hungry on board. Plus, there are lots of specialty restaurants you can go to.
One of my favorite activities on the ship is the formal night where I get to dress up, meet the captain and experience fine dining. I had a sumptuous dinner during that night.
From the young to the young-at-heart, there truly is something for everyone. Your family can enjoy delicious dining, spacious accommodations, Broadway-style entertainment, Adventure Ocean youth program and the most innovative ships on the high seas for one great price.
Climb the signature rock-wall, hang-ten on the FlowRider, play a round of mini-golf, or glide around the ice-skating rink, jogging track, basketball court - all without spending another dime.
Play to win in a classic arcade atmosphere with timeless games like Pacman and table hockey, plus the latest - Guitar Hero, Fast and Furious Drift and more.
If you like to gamble, Casino Royale is the best place to be! It's the little slice of Vegas right at sea with plenty of slots and table games.
A real city at sea is the Royal Promenade. Such a gorgeous mall-like atmosphere with plenty of duty-free shops, bars and cafe.
This is also the area where the captain hosts the welcome-aboard reception. Royal Promenade is indeed the heart of the ship.
Check out this elegant theater, the Metropolis. This theater delivers nightly shows from variety production numbers featuring the Royal Caribbean singers and dancers, music, comedy entertainers, and bingo games.
We got the chance to see the Texas Tenors performed live. It was really awesome!
The best part of the trip was relaxing, having a drink and reading a book by the pool while the little one is enjoying her own thing at the Adventure Ocean Explorers Program.
The Navigator of the Seas has 4 pools including the Solarium, an adults-only retreat, 6 whirlpools, and State-of-the-art Fitness Center with classes including yoga and tai chi.
Our one night on-board experience was fantabulous! It was truly a memorable Mother's day treat for me. Thanks a lot Royal Caribbean International for the opportunity! Now, I can't wait for our next cruise getaway. Soon very soon! You can check some of our cruise photos HERE.

Trust me, you never get bored on-board. I have to say that a cruise vacation is so convenient & worth every penny! Ah, looks like an amazing experience! I've never been on a cruise ship but my family did have a yacht. I know... I'm not really complaining. =) How much would something like this cost a commoner like myself?

Wow, wow, wow!!! First off, I find that interactive digital way finder to be so cool indeed! What a way to familiarize and be oriented with the entire part or section or corner of a huge ship, huh? I can imagine how awesome it is!

Looks like you three had a blast, Dhemz! Why not, right? I can only wish to take part in a cruise someday soon! I bet it is so much fun! For now, I'll savor lots of nice memories that are yet to be made by me but are already made by you! Haha! Thanks for sharing all about this Royal Caribbean adventure!
