Summer Fun at Splashtown San Antonio!

How's your summer so far? Summer is my family's favorite time of year, and what better way to enjoy the summer than by spending some quality time with your family at Splashtown, San Antonio. Splashtown is San Antonio's family waterpark with 20 acres of cool, clean water excitement and over 50 rides & attractions. This Family Waterpark has something fun for everyone!!!
My family and I had a blast during our visit to Splashtown last weekend. We've been here before and we're pretty much familiar of the place and all the rides.
Splashtown San Antonio's attraction include "The Luge" which is over 7 stories with two different water slide routes and can accommodate 3 people in one water bobsled.
We all went together on one water bobsled, and it was awesome!
"The Serpentines" a unique water slide attraction with twists and turns like that of a snake.
Daughter said that "The Serpentines" is her favorite ride!
The Starflight is my favorite ride of all. This is actually the popular ride in Splashtown with rising over five stories high, presents two soaring, twisting enclosed double-tube slides through inky darkness before splashdown.
"The Wedgie" which is a five waterslide ride with a surprise twist at the end. It looks pretty exciting but I got scared and didn't try it.
Hubby and daughter enjoying the Head Rush ride.
Everyone's favorite is the Siesta Del Rio. This winding tree-lines waterway flows around and through the wapterpark, carrying guests away for a cool floating siesta.
Another exciting ride at Splashtown is the Purple Hydra. You better get ready to fly down this fast twisting thrilling body slide five stories down in seconds. I tried it and it was pretty cool! I felt twisted alright!
Splashtown is definitely a great place to escape summer heat and have lots of fun with your loved ones! They have fully staffed with professionally trained lifeguards. They have restrooms with shower facilities and shaded picnic areas are available. Lockers and cabanas are available for rent. The only downside is that no food or beverage may be brought into the park, but a shaded picnic area is provided just outside the main gate.

So if you're down here in San Antonio and need to cool off, you might want to check out the twenty-acre Splashtown Waterpark! Looks scary and fun at the same time! If I were to try those slides, I would be screaming from the top of the slide till I hit the water.
