One of the shows that my family and I went to see in Vegas during the Holiday season was Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil.
Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil is a spirited journey through an abandoned theater, where an extraordinary circus comes back to life. Populated by a motley collection off-the-wall characters and incomparable acrobats,, Zarkana is a visual vortex set in a twisted acrobatic fantasy universe where, little by little, chaos and craziness give way to a true celebration.
The tone of the music is upbeat and rhythmic like a carpet on which to drift away and it serves as a welcome interlude to the intense feats of physicality that punctuate the plot, including a multitude of performers spinning like tops in Cyr wheels and highly focused wire-walkers taking a nail-biting stroll.
