Crested Butte International Lodge & Hostel | #CrestedButteMt #Butte #CrestedButte #ButteHostel

My family and I enjoyed our recent Spring Break getaway to Colorado and we had a blast! My husband and I decided to take our daughter on a ski trip instead of going to the beach for spring break. I'm glad we've made that decision because both my daughter and I were able to take some ski lessons, got to experience and see snow since we live in Texas.
We stayed for two nights and three days at Crested Butte International Lodge & Hostel. The Crested Butte Lodge & Hostel is a perfect alternative to a stuffy hotel room. The place is situated in Crested Butte, this ski hotel is 0.4 mi from Mountain Bike Hall of Fame Museum and within 3 mi of Crested Butte Mountain Resort and Trailhead Childrens Museum, Western State College of Colorado and Pioneer Museum are also within 32 mi.
Their great room boasts a fireplace, library, guitars, games, and a TV/VCR. The kitchen facilities are modern and completely stocked with all the amenities needed to make your own meals (you supply the food). This is a great savings for budget conscious travelers.
They have Ski and Bike storage available on premise, as well as a full service Laundry, a fax and copy service, and Public Showers. High Speed and Wireless internet services are also available. A small retail counter is provided for their guest's convenience where you can purchase the items you may have forgotten, get a snack, or a homemade baked good.
At the Crested Butte Lodge and Hostel, Guest Safety and Security are always a priority. All of their rooms and guest bathrooms are locked by a programmable key card system, similar to what you see in major hotels.
Each person has an individual locking storage drawer under the bunk, you can bring your own lock or they can provide you with one. The front doors are locked each evening so that only registered guests can enter the building after the front desk is closed. Guest Parking is provided free on site.
The Hostel can accommodate 49 people in a variety of room sizes, none sleeping more than 6, and most sleeping 4. They also offer two great apartments on the third floor that sleep 6 for a total of 61 pillows in the building.
The clean, spacious, and well-lit bathrooms are large, tiled facilities separated by gender, similar to what you would find in a high-class athletic club. They are complete with stainless steel stall dividers and decorative finishes and each has five toilets, five shower stalls, five sinks.
Each room is provided with linens and towels, a desk, and all have windows.
Overall, my family and I had a pleasant stay at Crested Butte International Lodge & Hostel. The staff were friendly, helps you with everything you need and very accommodating. The place is neat, great atmosphere and cozy. We love the fact that we could look up at the mountains while we eat breakfast in the morning. Such a great place to stay in Crested Butte. My family and I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone.
So whether you are planning your next family reunion, wedding, retreat, youth trip, skiing or mountain biking adventure, Crested Butte International Lodge & Hostel is the perfect place to stay! This hostel is the best way to go for budget conscious travelers traveling in Colorado.  For more details or would like to book a room, you should visit crestedbuttelodging.com today! Disclosure: I received a 2-night complimentary accommodation for my family to stay at Crested Butte International Lodge & Hostel in exchange for a fair review.

That does look like a very nice place to stay. Normally I wouldn't associate hostels with having such nice accommodations.

I've never stayed in a hostel, but based on what you said, it's worth exploring. I like that you have your own locked storage area too.

I can see why you recommend it. And that fireplace!! They'd have a hard time moving me from that spot (and by 'they' I mean my family). :)

I had no clue that a Mountain Bike Hall of Fame Museum existed. One of these days, I am going to go skiing. We certainly have enough snow.
