Motivate Your Child Action Plan Book | #heartparenting

Parenting can be hard and at times, stressful and complicated but it can be the most important and rewarding role any parent can have. There are, however, certain steps that one can take if you wants to become the best parent that you can be to your children.

While there are certain traits that you may already possess that can help you make a role as a parent easier, there are still certain skills and traits that you can learn and develop that will help you become a more confident and nurturing parent.
One of the things that we can do that will help us gain new insights on how to raise happy, healthy and independent children is by reading parenting books. You should check out this awesome book called Motivate Your Child Action Plan by Dr. Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller, RN, BSN. It's a great book that will help parents develop a parenting plan that will allow us to effectively address the unique needs of our children.
The book offer a simple step-by-step process that will help us parents to identify the specific needs of our children and develop an action plan that will help us lead our children to where they need to be. The tools that the book offers address common problems such as laziness, sibling conflict, disrespect, emotional outbursts and poor school performance.
Reading this book does not only help us learn effective techniques on how to address such problems, but it will also help us understand the value of our relationship to our children and how we can make it stronger. It helps us know our child better and provide us with new insights on how to guide them to become the best that they can be. What I love most about this book is that it allows us parents to write down the plan and have meetings with our children to confirm direction and evaluate results. Each chapter ends with a suggested meeting discussion to have with our children. I would highly recommend this book to any parent out there.
If you are a parent who needs encouragement and inspiration as you develop the action plan that will result in a positive and lasting change to your child’s behavior, then this book is a must read. So instead of relying on reward/punishment models, use this heart-based strategy to develop a tailored plan for your child. This sounds like it would be a great resource for some. I never read any parenting books, but I know those that have and enjoyed them.
