General P.G.T. Beauregard Statue in New Orleans

The second statue that we saw during our trip to New Orleans was the statue of General P.G.T. Beauregard. Beauregard was considered the first prominent general of the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War.
This statue was built since 1913 and was unveiled in 1915. It is located at the intersection of Carrollton Avenue and Esplanade Avenue at the main entrance to City Park.
