Palace of Versailles

Our day was quite exhausting yet exciting. We started by eating breakfast at McDonald's and took a metro to get to Palace of Versailles. The palace is outside the city of Paris, so it requires us to take multiple train rides. Since there was a metro strike, only a few trains were running. It took us almost half a day to get to Versailles because we had to transfer from one metro station to another.
The metro station is about 20 minutes walking distance to the palace. We finally got there around two o'clock in the afternoon. The queue for ticket was pretty quick. It costs 15€ per adult and kids are free to get in.

The palace is grand and magnifique. I can imagine all the royalties having a banquet party at the palace. Each corner in the palace has each awesome detail.

The garden is breathtaking and simply amazing.
