Cenote Hubiku

Cenote Hubiku is one of the most jaw dropping cenotes you will encounter in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. This is a cavernous freshwater, natural pool that is as surreal as any cenote you will find.

Like many other cenotes in Mexico, this site is considered sacred for the ancient Mayans were sometimes used for sacrificial offerings.

What is a cenote? A cenote is a natural pit, or sinkhole, resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath.
