⬅️⬅️⬅️ These authentic traditional wooden dutch houses in Zaanse Schans village are just adorable! The village is almost like something out of a fairy tale, small green painted houses with small waterways and bridges. Some of these green houses are privately owned. Truth be told, we accidentally went to someone's backyard...lol!

Zaanse Schans is absolutely a perfect place to experience the Dutch history. We had a great time exploring the village. The place totally offers a preserved glimpse of what it was like to live in the Netherlands in the 18th and 19th centuries.
