Dream Up Your Getaway and Save With Club Carlson | #clubcarlson

How did you spend your summer vacation? Our summer was exhilarating! We did a trip across Europe for three weeks and visited six countries with our 10- year old daughter. It was definitely the "trip of a lifetime".
The French Quarter
Anyhow, now that summer is over, it's time to plan for our annual holiday getaway. Since we had a memorable holiday experience in New Orleans last year, we are already talking about coming back there again for Christmas.
The famous St. Louis Cathedral
Have you been to New Orleans? If you've never been to NOLA do yourself a favor and add it to your bucket list. New Orleans also known as "The Big Easy" or "NOLA" is filled with unique culture, history, scrumptious French-inspired Creole and Cajun food, live jazz, street performers, and many other things. This city is a great place to visit with lots of activities and things to do and see for the whole family.
Bourbon Street at Night
If you happen to visit New Orleans, you might want to stay in the heart of the Crescent City at the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, New Orleans, French Quarter, LA. Situated less than a mile from iconic Bourbon Street, the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and other NOLA attractions, this hotel is the perfect home base for sightseeing in the Big Easy.

I am going here in December. That hotel was on my list to check out so now it got bumped up.

I've never been but it actually came up in conversation over the weekend. My mom was not a fan but hadn't been in 40 years so my husband (who went often before we married) tried to convince her to go back stating how awesome it is there and how much there really is to do.

I've never been to New Orleans but it's one of the places that I really want to see once I get the chance to fly to the US. I really love their culture. It would be nice to stay there and just enjoy everything they have to offer.
