For 40 years Chuck E. Cheese’s has served as the nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. As the place where a million happy birthdays are celebrated every year, Chuck E. Cheese’s goal is to create positive, lifelong memories through fun, food and play, and is the place where A Kid Can Be A Kid!
Last August, the company began to pilot a new design concept and has partnered with San Francisco-based design firm, Tesser, to remodel the interior and exterior of several San Antonio restaurants with a focus on fresh food and fun for the whole family.
If you haven't taken your kids to Chuck E. Cheese's lately, now is the perfect time to visit and check out the new design updates! I had the privilege to take my family the other day and attended a grand re-opening event at the 238 SW Military location.
I must say that the restaurant feature a more adult ambiance and more upscale decor with a "muted" interior color scheme, an open kitchen, the "Play Pass" card system to replace arcade tokens, and the animatronic stage show replaced by a dance floor area. I love the new look! It's bright, inviting and very spacious.
The open kitchen is a brilliant idea which allow guests especially kids to watch the pizza making process. In addition, the lunch buffet, which is offered Monday – Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., has been moved closer to the open kitchen to tout its fresh ingredients.
The Birthday Zone features varied seating options for larger parties, with party sections designated by characters in Chuck E.’s band featuring a bold wall graphic silhouette and character biography.
I love the new layout and the colorful streamlined graphics are very pleasing to the eye.
Also, Chuck E. Cheese's now offers a sensory-friendly experience on the first Sunday of every month. Their trained and caring staff is there to make sure families who have children with autism and special needs have a fun filled visit.
The interior also features a stunning, all-new light up dance floor where the hourly live show and birthday show will take place.
Yay, no more stage and stationary characters! Instead Chuck E. Cheese's and his crew are getting down on the light up dance floor with the kids.I applaud this new concept where kids can boogie with a live version of Chuck E. Cheese, Helen Henny, Mr. Munch, Jasper T. Jowls, and Pasqually E. Pieplate.
Don't forget to check out the new added arcade games.
Absolutely, no visit to Chuck E. Cheese's is complete without earning and redeeming tickets!
Bring the whole family and check out this location!

This looks really cool! I haven't been to Chuck E Cheese in so long. I'm sure my kids (11 and 13) would still have fun there!
It sounds like they're taking their game to the next level. I love that they're improving their services for the kids and the adults alike. It's definitely more fun to go there now!

It has been a few years since we have been to Chucky Cheese. My boys loved it last time that we went. I might have to surprise them with a trip before Christmas.
I haven't been to Chucky Cheese in ages! It looks like a whole bunch of fun. I remember going when I was a kid.
This is totally different than the Chuck e Cheese I remember growing up! The whole place has changed (I would hope so, I was a kid 30 years ago) LOL
Does anyone remember the 80s chuck e cheese pizza musical ferris wheel?
I love that they are updating. My children absolutely love to come here. I wish we had one near us.
oh man! I have never ever visited a Chuck E Cheese, because there are literally NONE anywhere near us, they look like so much fun though!
