They have nowhere to go and often with just the clothes on their backs, many end up in refugee camps that are both overcrowded and overwhelmed. One of the many organizations that are offering supplies, shelter and medical care for the people displaced by the crisis is CARE. CARE is a global humanitarian organization that fights poverty by empowering girls and women. This organization has reached more than 1 million Syrians with humanitarian relief. As the bloody Syrian conflict drags past the five-year mark this month, CARE wants to deliver something more to Syria's displaced children: HOPE.

Yes, we always take things for granted that maybe in some other places in the world are rare to find, we need to grow a conscience and always remember to help each other in anyway we can.

I cannot imagine what these people are going through. So often I read about the violence in Syria and the many refugees pouring into Europe, and I think of what that would be like to have to leave my home with my two year old. It is heartbreaking. Thank you for sharing this. I will be donating a care package. It is so important to support humanity and show others that fellow man can be kind and compassionate.

The Syrian crisis is absolutely heart breaking & I cant even imagine when you are force to live as a refugee somewhere for no mistake you made. These are some great tips to help them & show the world that we are united. After all they need our love & support more than anything else & Care is doing a great job for sure.
Everything going on on the opposite side of the world is so sad and scary; I think it's great to help them out in ways that we can, since we really need to take care of our own security before allowing them to come here. Great post!
